  2.     Add Domain Name Server
  3.  
  4.     You can configure both primary and secondary Domain Name Servers. If
  5.     you configure both an the primary server is busy or down, Enlighten
  6.     will utilize the secondary server. Use the Server Type field to
  7.     select which type you want to configure.

  11.     Use this toggle button to specify whether a primary or secondary DNS
  12.     server is being configured.

  15.     Primary Server Add Fields

  17.     This window contains the following fields:

  19.     Domain Name
  20.  
  21.     Use this field to specify the domain name of the new DNS server.
  22.  
  23.     Primary Server Hostname
  24.  
  25.     Use this field to enter which host will be the primary domain name
  26.     server. You can also click on the arrow button to the right to pop
  27.     up a pick list of all hosts within the current pool and select one.

  29.     Network I.P. Numbers
  30.  
  31.     You can use this field to enter the network I.P. Address of the
  32.     subnets the DNS server will manage within the domain. For example,
  33.     if you're managing hosts with the address range 192.57.36.01 through
  34.     192.57.36.254, then you should enter the value 192.57.36 in this
  35.     field.

  37.     Dir. for DNS database files
  38.  
  39.     Use this field to specify the full directory pathname for the DNS
  40.     database files. The default is /etc/named.

  42.     Pathname to DNS config. files
  43.  
  44.     Use this field to enter the full pathname for the named.boot file.
  45.     This file is used by the BIND daemon to locate the DNS configuration
  46.     files at system start-up. The default is /etc/named.boot.

  48.     Secondary Name Servers

  50.     You can use this field to specify the hostnames of any secondary
  51.     name servers. Leave a blank space between server names for multiple
  52.     entries.

  54.     Administrator e-mail address
  55.  
  56.     Use this field to specify the DNS administrator's email address.

  59.     Database serial number
  60.  
  61.     Use this field to enter the serial number associated with the DNS
  62.     database. The default serial number is 1 (one). This serial number
  63.     is incremented every time the primary database is altered.

  65.     DNS database refresh frequency
  66.  
  67.     You can use this field to choose how often the secondary DNS
  68.     database serial numbers are checked against the primary DNS database
  69.     numbers. If the serial numbers are different, the secondary DNS
  70.     updates itself. The default value is every three hours.

  72.     DNS query retry frequency
  73.  
  74.     You can use this field to choose how frequently the secondary DNS
  75.     server will attempt to reconnect with the primary DNS server if the
  76.     initial contact with the primary server failed. The default value is
  77.     every hour.

  79.     DNS data expiry

  81.     You can use this field to choose the maximum time the hostname and
  82.     IP address information will live in a secondary server when the
  83.     Primary server is unreachable. The default value is one week.

  85.     Minimum TTL

  87.     You can use this field to choose the maximum time a cached hostname
  88.     and IP address will live in a DNS server before the secondary server
  89.     contacts the primary server to resynchronize the data. The default
  90.     value is one day.

  95.     This subsection describes the fields for adding a secondary domain
  96.     name server.

  103.     Use this field to enter the hostname of the primary domain name
  104.     server for which the secondary server is being configured. You can
  105.     also click on the arrow button to the right to pop up a pick list of
